Being a quilter in Oregon is heaven! The state is rich in quilting history. Plus, I love quilting on the road. I will be sharing my shopping, projects, mistakes, successes and travels...all things quilt!...so come join me in my world of quilting, books, cross stitch and Van travel!
Anna, next time you make your rhubarb jam, add a box of strawberry jello to the mix before putting it in the jars. This will give your jam a red color and add the taste of strawberry. You will love it!
Anna, Love your video and I have had several jam mishaps myself. Nothing that color though. lol. Usually my jam is not very thick. Oh well, we try and I agree with you about the goat farmgirl. Wow, she is a doer. Stay safe and I will look forward to you seeing you soon on either quilt roadie or stitch roadie. A big fan. I'm struggling on this isolation business. I want to see my grandsons!!! Like you. Linda
Love your videos and get such a kick out of you :) I guess I'm weird...I don't understand the angst of not seeing or being with friends. I guess because I grew up as an only child and learned to like being with just myself...haha. Great suggestion from Norma May about adding strawberry jello to the rhubarb jam. That's what my mother always did. You could probably use that jam to make a rhubarb/strawberry pie. Google the recipe. See you soon, I hope.
I agree with you - and I thought it was just because I am not a social being, but maybe it does have to do with being an only child. My husband is "suffering" more than I am ….but he also doesn't have all the hobbies I have! What I am "angst-ing" about is the changes in the lives of my grandchildren and because of those changes we are not seeing them as often (no concerts at school, probably no swim season or water polo season...)
I was an only child until I was 9 yrs old when my older sister was adopted so I totally get what you both are sharing...And as time has been passing I am re-evaluating my calendar which I let get out of hand. priorities...
Anna, thanks for two videos of laughter! I woke up feeling blah, then after an hour of not seeing well while surfing the net, I realized I had my old prescription glasses on! Because of the laughter, I feel so much better and am working on a quilt. I enjoy seeing all your cross stitch projects. I can't believe how many all you flosstube gals start at one time!
