Tuesday Muses

It has been one of those lovely soul filling weeks...the ones where the calendar is almost empty and the things on it are spread out.  Which means some long term PJ time in the Bee Hive!!!  I only get up to the Bee Hive during the day time hours since the evening is spent with G in the  TV/Cross stitch room.  But these last few days have been filled with stitching!  One evening this week I saw something through the window of the TV room and so I ran outside and took a photo and told G I got a photo of the first star!  Click on the photo to enlarge...he informed me that in fact that is a planet!!!  I wonder if someone was stitching, jumped up and took a photo of us, LOL...we cannot be the only universe with stitchers!!!

The next day G and I spent the afternoon browsing the antique stores in the next town.  I saw this cross stitch and wondered about the stitcher?  I love the sentiment ( so me) and if I had a space for it I would have bought it!  We stitch because we love the process not because we know that everyone in our lives is going to forever cherish everything we create.

Yesterday I happen to be standing by the window when the teenagers were walking by...I love how when they hear something their ears perk up...they have moved into town as you can feel winter is not far away.  The other morning I heard an Elk bugling...such a strange sound.

Today will be another Bee Hive day...I can't wait...
but,
first I do the coffee and then I do the things...

  1. Enjoy your day in the hive. I’m going to my wool group to share my Sue Spargo piece and plan what is next. And hopefully get my borders for Something’s Fishy so I can add to mix.

It seems I just missed some snow in Calgary, some arrived today.

  4. How lovely to have a week like you've had with lots of soul-filling time in the Beehive too. We're in our winter home - enjoying listening to the first much needed rain of the season tonight - and I've been to two quilt groups this week, another tomorrow, so I'm getting in some enjoyable stitching time as well.

  7. We had a whole group of those teenagers going past, on the gravel road just beyond the bow window beyond this computer screen the other evening... spaced out like a bridal party going up the isle. Then they head north on the paved road clicking their high heeled shoes till they turn off toward the creek for a nice drink in the evenings.
