Tannenbaum Row 3

8 comments:

  1. Hi, Anna! Thanks for the heads up about the corrections! I'll look into that. I bought the pattern and fabric last summer to get started early, so I had to purchase fabric from three different sources. Edita only sold it by the yard at that time. I have row 1,2,3,5,8 & 10 finished. I had a lot of trouble with row 8 (baskets). I lost points with the blocks joined together. They're staying that way since it's not too noticeable and won't be going into a show. It's for my newly married granddaughter. I have row 7 started. With row 3, I did lay everything out, but still ended up with same fabrics touching when I sewed row 2 & 3 together. It looks like a small house! LOL My friends at the guild retreat kept saying "are you crazy?" when they saw the 1 1/2" squares. Glad there are other "crazies" out there like me!

  2. Looking great Anna. Good idea to do it the way you did, laying it out beside you. As you say, pretty easy to get things turned other than how you wanted it!

  3. Edyta must have changed the pattern a bit and then reprinted it. I was looking at your row 2 and it's slightly different from mine. The bottom row of my row 2 has 3 flying geese instead of 4 with a hst on the outsides. I haven't gone out to her website yet to see what corrections there might be. It's possible my pattern has the corrections already in it. Either way, it's a fun little quilt to work on!

  4. Hi, so glad I waited for the video! I will make row 3 today although will part strip piece. Thanks so much for the info re the corrections it's meant that I have been on Laundry Baskets site and found corrections to a pattern in Handful of Scraps which I have printed out. This is definitely a pattern I want to make.
Love G's music. Keep up the good work!
