Back In The Saddle...

Although yesterday was the official birthday I will continue to enjoy my favorite month of the year.  I woke up and started unpacking all the Stitchville and Woolstock goodies...Robin and I flew together and luckily were able to fit everything in our bags although they were so heavy we checked them in rather than be responsible for back injuries caused by trying to lift them over head, lol.  Dale on the other hand had to hand carry 4 yards of flannel because it made her suitcase weigh to much, lol...it is serve as a blanket during the flight!

All the birthday wishes were amazing and I think each and everyone of you for your kindness.  One of the highlights was a phone call from my grandson Wyatt!

I spent the morning decorating the house for Halloween when a knock at the door revealed the most amazing flowers.  The vase is wonderful and they look perfect on my wool mat.  My lil man has the best taste because I am sure he picked it out all by himself, LOL

As requested G was already to make me some birthday tacos when there was a knock at the door.  I was in the Bee Hive petting my new wool pile, lol...and the most amazing surprise...my older son.  Which meant birthday dinner at the local Rancho Viejo!

I am grateful for what life has gifted me today...for one never knows what tomorrow may bring.  And, just think there is still 3 weeks left to celebrate! LOL  I shall leave you with a photo of the front of my birthday card from G...he totally gets me...my gift from him...an expandable stainless steel straw with an expandable brush to clean it with...in it's own little plastic case!!!

  11. Hello Anna, Happy Birthday month, may it be filled with all the special things you wish for. So glad your son came to visit. Grandchildren are so special. I subscribe to your blog, to your quilt roadies, and to your stitch roadies. I'm a total unadultered fan of yours. I now if you appear in my Youtube feed or email that I have a smile laid up for me, and sometimes a real good laugh. You truly inspire me, with all your projects and naturally you enable me which is a good thing, I'm disabled and a bit of a shut-in, please don't feel sorry for me though, it's a great life, especially the stitching. Can't wait for the follow-up videos from Stitchville and Woolstock, I know I'm going to be a bit green lol. Kind regards Mandyxx
