Thursday This & That

These past few weeks have been relaxing and peaceful.  We have been camping in the perfect spot to feel peace and quiet.  With limited WiFi the outside world has entered our life in spits and spurts.  But this past week I have been struggling as many of you must be about what it means to be American as the world looks on to see what are we going to do or not do...again?  And so, all  I am going to say about it is my vote is a powerful tool and I will be using it with the precision  of a strong America woman in future elections...

Well??? Are you ready???  I have my pattern and have just about got the fabrics...as I see it the Sew A Long will start in September for those of you that are interested :)  This is a 46 x 64 inch wallhanging so shouldn't be to hard right???  Anyhoo...I am all in and hope some of you will come along with me.  I am hoping to get a section a week done but I know with a wedding in Sept. that might be a little ambitious but I ALWAYS think on the grand scale!!  Here's to hoping I have company on this journey!

Have a wonderful weekend and may it be a peaceful one....

  1. This break is just what you and G needed after your busy travel schedule early in the year. Then the loss of beloved Enzo. The business of the quilt show. You both look happy and relaxed especially G in this wonderful picture and you in your video adventures. Sometimes being away in one place is the best medicine of all.

  2. Loving your daily happy hour posts. You crack me up!!:) It's nice to get away that way and reflect, relax and think about the world. And yes, my vote is powerful as well and I use it. I hope you do a post after your trip to tell us how your new van worked out for you. Stay safe, stay happy.

  7. Have my pattern and am ready to start. Hunting thru my stash for just the right fabrics. I've just returned from a week at the beach and playing blog catch-up. So far I have read three blogs including yours that have made comments on the sad state of our country. We have a cruel and mean-spirited president who is trying to destroy our country for his benefit. I too will be voting against him and all those in government that enable him in his cruel actions. Thank you Anna for your voice.
