I have been a prepping fiend lately...trying to get a head start on the many stitchery projects that have been lying in wait to be set free! Which means there is not a whole lot getting finished but a a bunch of future dreams, lol. I have been spinning my wheels so much I forgot to actually post a regular blog post on Tuesday!
In addition to prepping I have been reading...my other great passion. The Baker's Secret is a wonderful book gifted to me by a former high school classmate and it was wonderful. I would for sure recommend that you add it to you read list.
I also finished The last Time I Saw You. Robin has been binge reading this author and said she has really enjoyed her books. This one about a 40th class reunion was lighthearted, funny and had a few...REALLY??? moments. Guess I will be adding this author to my read list.
This past weekend a girlfriend and I took in the Snowflake Boutique Sale at the Fair Grounds...and yes we did find a few items that had to come home. It was nice to see a Guild Raffle going on...obviously there are some wonderful quilter's in this guild!
Because the quilt was beautiful and the quilting was exquisite! Someone is going to be awfully happy when they win this beauty!
Although I am hip hopping around
I have my stitching with me
which feels like a comfort cozy...
hope you are relaxing and enjoying a stitch or 2 also!
