Thoughts for Thursday
I have been keeping up on my reading and this book recommended by my friend Robin was a true story of a man who was rescued from an unhealthy life by a dog named Peety.
G and I decided to take a break from our routine chaos and went to the movies! The latest Mission Impossible movie did not disappoint...full of twist and turns plus action packed! It was worth watching it at the movie house.
I continue to be amazed by the talent of quilters...that is not about quilting! One of the stitch groups I belong to is hosted at a different quilter's home on a once a month basis. This past month we were surprised with a "craft" project. Beads and instructions were given by the hostess on making a scissor fob!! I have never made one of these and it was sooooo much fun! And I am so proud of my creation!
I quilt, embroidery and cross stitch but other crafts are not on my list of accomplishment...well, I did paint a barn quilt. But still...I do love the Pinterest creations and you could not keep me out of a craft store but I am in awe of the ability of a person to create. You'll see more about some wonderful mail surprises but I couldn't wait to give you a close up of this absolutely adorable mini suitcase created by a subscriber to Quilt Roadies. I mean...there is a miniature Buttermilk Basin Autumn Harvest Pattern!!! little bolts of fabric...OMG is it ever cute!
The top has a Bee and some travel stitchers...
I have not clue how it was made...
but, I can tell you I am in love with it!
Now, it resides on a cabinet in the Bee Hive...
yep, I really love it!!!
Have a wonderful day...and spend some time creating!
