Longest Day of the Year!!!

Today is the longest day of the year...and the first day of summer for us...which means there is more than enough time to stitch and play outside!!!  G also reminded me that today is also World Music Day :)  So let's celebrate!!!

Finished another book that is worth reading!  This book talks about our changing society...especially for those of us in the age range of 50's, 60's and 70's.  It is not a long book but eye opening on so many fact I know I may want to read it again in a few months to gather more information.  I had no idea there was a work force of traveling minimum wage workers in my age range.  It is both scary and exhilarating how we can keep putting one foot in front of the other.

Today is going to be an exciting day!  Joyce Weeks the designer behind Geoff's Mom Patterns is going to be visiting the Bee Hive!  I was lucky enough to visit Joyce in St. George a couple of years ago and am anxious to see what she is up too!

I still have 2 projects on the list of want to make...I have both patterns and fabrics all ready to go...yep, this may be just the push I need to get them done!

I LOVE them both...yep...
I think hanging out with Joyce is going to be fun!
Have a great day...filled with kindness and empathy.
