The Holiday Season

The holiday season is upon us...only 34 more days till Christmas. And, you know what that means....the 12 Days Christmas Give Away starting December 1st.  For those of you that are new to the Give Away...I save patterns that I have finished and pass them on during the first 12 days of December.  Also I have books that have been donated to the Give Away...so stay tuned!

My holiday shopping is not only local stores but the various holiday bazaars.  The Christmas Goose holiday bazaar sponsored for Wendy's Wish was the kick off for my holiday season and  I was especially excited to pick up one of Kristin Shield's paintings.  Holiday Craft Fairs are the best!

My friend Marsha finished her Buttermilk Basin Give Thanks Quilt and she did a spectacular job...although, mine won't be done by this Thanksgiving it will for sure be done by next Thanksgiving!!

I have a list of projects to get done by Christmas...pillowcases, pincushions, table runners...so, that means the UFO, WiP and PIGs will just have to wait till next year...OMG...did I say next year?!!!  It seems this year has flown by!  I hope you are enjoying the last few weeks of 2017 :)
