Busy Bee

It seemed yesterday I was driving from one end of the county to the other...well not really...just seemed that way.  I sent a couple of quilts to be quilted by one of my favorite long arm quilters, Sandy Lachowski in Bend, Oregon.  I loved how my quilts turned out and I will share them at a future date.  But since I was picking up my quilts at BJ's Quilt Basket in Bend I saw a couple of classes that were being offerend that looked so cool.  Wish I had time to actually sign up!!!

I spent the rest of the day hanging out with The Berries working on my cross stitch....but mostly talking, sharing and laughing.  There is so much support and kindness with a stitch group.  I was boo hooing that my little guy is moving back to Portland!!  How will I survive...I guess that means more Portland time!

He is such a character and brings so much joy to our lives!

What we say today is embrace life and be grateful for
love and laughter!

  1. My gosh what big teeth you have Silas! Such a happy boy, I'm going to miss the frequent picture updates also.

That rainbow flying geese block is gorgeous! I'd be tempted to take that class. Glad you had a good day with the Berries stitching, talking and laughing.

  2. Oh! I didn't realize they were moving back to Portland. Buggers, but yes, more Portland time for all of your grandsons.

  4. I am sorry about the little one moving away. His smile is so radiant and those eyes...my gosh. 3 of my grandchildren were long distance, and it is tough; but got there as often as we could. Actually going to the 3rd. one's high school graduation in June. They live in VT. I am feeling old, her older sister graduated college last May.

  6. You are lucky to be able to attend so many classes, all our shops closed. That little guy is so adorable and his smile is so infectious, hopefully you will get to spend more time with him in Portland and when he gets older, he can visit grandma's house.
