Being a quilter in Central Oregon is heaven! We have 9 shops all within a 45 minute drive and they all have their own appeal. And now, I have added Portland to my quilting life! I will be sharing my shopping, projects, mistakes, successes and travels...all things quilt!...so come join me in my world of quilting, books, movies and restaurants!
I have been a busy little elf and am almost done with my pincushions for the Sew 'n So's Gift exchange. I ran out of walnut shells and ran over to the Stitchin' Post and they have nice size bags for the most reasonable price I have seen in a quilt shop. Robin gets hers at the feed store but I didn't have time to go there and besides...i needed a quilt shop break. The shop was soooo beautiful and since I was there I picked up Sue Spargo's latest stitch book! A present from G to me, LOL
The party season is in full swing and my book group in Sisters has a Christmas party today with a book exchange. Origins is my choice...for me it was a "couldn't put it down" type of book with Robert Langdon running around trying to solve a mystery. Intrigue, faith and hope kept you on the edge of your seat.
Have a wonderful week filled with stitching and Hallmark Movies... we watched White Christmas last night and I cried at the end.
