  2. Thanks for the demo Anna. I'm a bit unclear about the next step; I'm guessing that you tuck under the extra half inch or is it a quarter inch when you are handstitching the top and bottom down. It would be great if you could do a brief video for that bit on another quilt as I know you've gifted your sister already with hers,

It's a lovely quilt I'm sure they will be safe with it hanging over their bed, lovely setting design Anna.

  3. I just get the biggest smile on my face when watching your videos! You are adorable and I loved this demo! First, I have been wanting a Baby Lock Sweet 16 and you maneuver yours beautifully! The motif you chose looks great! I am also so happy to see you do the facing and I am going to go get that book you suggested! Your sister will surely love the quilt and I hope you let us know what she says!! Thank you, thank you!!!

  4. I love facings for "art" quilts; they just make it look so much more like a piece of art than a binding does. Beautiful quilt for your sister.

You gave me my laugh for the day describing having sewn thru your circle marker. I'm glad I'm not the only one who does things like that. I once did it with a supreme slider. It ruined the slider because all those little needle marks took away the super slippery surface. At least you can still draw circles even if there were stitches through the marker.

Loved your way of only using the one small circle for your 'flower'. Must remember that!

    Thanks Anna.

  8. Loved your video Anna, I learned quite a bit. What kind of chalk pencil are you using. It looks like it marks easily and rubs away easily.

  9. Hi Anna! I just loved your video too. Such great information!!! In fact, your video was so great, I had some followup questions I'd like to ask you (I hope that's okay).
    1. What is the make of your iron and how do you like it?
    2. Love your red cupboard at the top of your stairs and I was wondering if is an antique or where it was purchased.
    3. The demo on the HQ was just great! Do you like it better than a regular long arm? I too, wondered about the type of chalk you used to mark the circle.
    4. Finally, your wall hanging turned out beautifully and I just want to thank you for the tutorial on the binding (I never would have thought of that - I'm heading to Amazon next to buy her book!).
    Great video!!!! Thanks so much!
