Give Away Day 12!!! + A Winner!

It was a wonderful weekend  and we were gifted with a view of the snow covered Sisters.  It was single digit temps in the morning and not much higher in the afternoon...burrrr.


Enzo preferred to stay inside with Mr. Bill


As for me I spent all day Sunday in my sewing room.  I finished a set of place mats and put together my 2016 Buttermilk Basin BOM.  Although this Free BOM is finished you can still buy the pattern and kits from Buttermilk Basin.

  4. Anna, I think we're all in a deep freeze! I can't see any mountains from my home, but we live about an hour from the Catskills, which are very low and rounded; but they're fun to hike. Thank you for the giveaway! You are so generous.

  6. We are originally from New England and now live in eastern North Carolina were we get very little...or none at all...snow. I miss it's beauty but not the bitter cold.

  8. We were at -31 Saturday morning! Temps are on the rise and we are predicted to hit close to 40 tomorrow. Nice to be able to stay inside and sew on those cold days. My friend has the BB Joy pillow and I have long admired it. I'd love to win the kit. Thanks for the chance. Loved all the videos so far. :)

  15. Your Let it Snow is gorgeous! As is your view. I've only been to Oregon once in the summer to attend to big outdoor quilt show. No snow on the Sisters then!

In our area we are enjoying the snow too... although not today because we were supposed travel to pick our kids up but the weather was not suitable for driving on the highway... it will be a delay but my excitement is still building!!! Thanks for the chance to win this kit, it is very sweet!!

  19. I live in southeast Missouri and we rarely have single digit temps but we are now. Unfortunately where I live is flat land so no beautiful mountain views here. Love the Joy kit. Thanks for the chance to win it.

  36. Thanks for the snow picture. In Georgia we got below 40 degrees for a little while yesterday which was brrrrrr cold for us! I have never tried a wool project so I would love to win the kit to see if that's for me or should I just stick to cottons.

  46. I think your Let It Snow setting is great. Thank you for sharing the photo. Just arrived home from a trip to Colorado Springs to see a son. We were 50 miles from our home when they closed the Interstate. 80 mph winds. It needed to be closed. Spent the night at the court house. No rooms were available in the small town of Big Timber. So good to be home. Would love to win the BB kit.
