Honey I am Home...and announcements!

First a couple of announcements...I never heard from the winner of the Give Away and I have no way to contact that person as her email is not attached to her comment so I have let the dog dish cough up a new recipient to the Give Away by Tina and the Woolie blog...Tpotts, if you contact me in the next 48 hours with a mailing address I will send the pattern to  you.  Sorry Nanalynn :(

After a weekend spent with the Fabric Stalkers I realized I need more stitch time and am going to readjust my blogging schedule.  Currently you can find me on The Quilt Show on Wednesdays.  G and I plan on a semi regular Quilt Roadie schedule on You Tube that will not only be on You Tube but uploaded to the Woolie Blog and My Pinterest.  With that said, I will only be writing a official (as in newsie)  Woolie Blog on Tuesday and Thursdays.  I feel like what I write about will be a better quality and more interesting...mainly because i will be getting more stitching done, LOL...an ulterior motive!!!  I hope you will continue on this journey with me and be sure to check out Anna and G on the Road on The Quilt Show Daily Blog tomorrow.

This past 5 day weekend...yes, it seems our retreat weekends are getting longer!  In the Fall we like our retreat to be at the beach.  Nothing like the smell of the ocean in the Fall.  We all can't make every retreat but we sure try to.  There are 10 of us and 9 made it...which meant that there was a LOT of sewing, a lot of new fabric and a lot of headway made on projects.  We were only about 2 miles from The Center Diamond!

The Center Diamond is featured in the Fall/Winter Quilt Sampler Magazine

Here are 4 of the Stalkers supporting the local economy :)

Enjoy the slide show...be inspired to pick up those UFO's...be inspired to start something new...and wait for it...be inspired to start those Homemade Christmas Presents!  Yes, lets make this a homemade Christmas!!!  See you tomorrow on The Quilt Show and back here on Thursday :)

  1. My goodness it looks like you all were very busy sewing away! I don't think I saw any bunnies hopping along but I did see a lot of winter, summer and autumn projects being created!

Love Robin's owl in the greens. So much created by so many in such a short time. Congrats to all!

  2. WOW! Thanks Anna and Enzo, of course. I decided to cheer myself up and read my favorite blogs, while trying to get over a nasty sinus infection. I'm really cheered up now, I can't believe I'm a winner. Thanks for making my day! πŸ˜„
    My snail mail is,
    Toni Anne Potter

    Thank you again, Toni Anne
As usual, please pet Enzo for me.

  3. I did reply but I replied to the noreply that you sent me totally my fault. Oh well maybe next time. πŸ˜‰

    1. nanalynn so sorry I can't email you but if you give me your address I will send you something special!!!

  4. WOW! A great show! A little bit of everything!!

  5. Your quilt retreats are always inspiring! Not only are they beautiful projects but so much accomplished!!!!
I will definitely miss you Mondays and Fridays but totally understand. :))

  6. I think I have slowed down so I cannot keep up with daily blogs and Facebook and sewing and the house and Bean, lol. I hope I can get more organized and do more sewing this season. The fall is the best time to be at the beach, no crowds.

  7. Such goodness and more retreat memories made...thanks for sharing Anna.

  8. WOW! So many cute projects happening there! Really love the mad owl (loved him the first time I saw him) and the row by row is beautiful. Where's Shibori Dragon? Thanks for sharing!

  9. Thanks for the video of all the creative projects that your group of fun friends worked on. I am recovering from surgery & it is nice to have see all the stuff going on at a retreat

  10. Ann, Always enjoy your posts but as a rule don't comment, sorry!! But today I need to ask a question. There is a picture of a quilt that Valori Wells was working on. I'm a scrap quilter and I love that quilt. Is there a pattern for this quilt or a way I can save the picture to remind me for a future quilt? Thanks for sharing your adventures.

  11. Hi, Anna I just saw Nanalyn's post. Please give her the pattern, she was the winner. It's fine with me, I'm not computer savvy and things happen. You still made my day and my sinus infection is feeling better. Happy Wednesday, please pet Enzo for me. Thank you, Toni Anne

  12. Always enjoy your blog and sorry you are slowing down writing, but I understand. Too many projects and not enough time. Retired and still don't have enough time. It was great seeing your friends' projects. So talented!
