GIVEAWAY!!!

Enzo said we need to have another GiveAway!  My friend Jeanne who has an Esty shop which sells Wooly Wounds gifted a Wooly Wound for the GiveAway.  Her link is on the right side of the blog for those who need a nice variety of wool thread but don't want to invest their retirement money on spools.  They also make wonderful gifts for your stitching girlfriends:)

There is about 17 yards of thread on each bobbin! and the colors...are soooo yummy!  So, if you are interested in this GiveAway leave a comment on this blog post and we'll see who the dog dish coughs up next Friday!!!  Please be a registered follower of the Blog :)

Yesterday,  I had the best time in class learning to make a footstool with Sheila Sinclair Snyder of License To Quilt.  It is a 2 day class...in day one you sew 8 segment...or, at least you need 8 segments completed by the second class which is in 2 weeks :)  It is hard not to smile when you see these stools!

The feet for the stool really add character to your stool!

I got 2 of my segments completed in class
and plan on working on the rest today.
I chose a more subtle color palate with a touch of Paris
since the stool will live in my sewing room!

Have a wonderful weekend, keep yourself at the top of your list!!!

  2. Phew! The thumbnail scared me! I'm sooo relieved your giveaway isn't Enzo, but rather that really interested collection of woolie goodness he's sitting next to!
Love the balls used for feet on the tuffets! I've made two thus far for baby girls! I'm grinning because I've been collecting Parisian themed prints to make one for that daughter who has the adorable chair! I also plan to make one in animal prints for my Daughter-In-Love!
