Give Away ~ Plus A Day With Sue...

Even though I couldn't go to Woolies yesterday I still wanted to make it a Woolie UFO Day.  I decided to dedicate my day to Sue Spargo.  I need something cheery to stitch on because I was feeling sorry for myself...another cold??? come on!!!  Oh well, what's a girl to do when she is stuck at home...STITCH!!!  There is nothing more inspiring than to lay Sue's calendar in front of you while stitching!

Calendar, lots of thread...
a UFO and a bowl of chicken soup!

I believe this is from a workshop I took with
Sue and Tonye in...2014???
Anyhoo...you have seen it before and you will see it
again...since it is definitely a WIP.

But LOOK!!!  I stitched my first flower!  It took me all afternoon! But, I am so tickled with how it turned out that I can't wait to stitch the next one!  Yep, this is exactly what the doctor ordered.

...And, now for the first of several Give Aways sponsored by Stacy at Buttermilk Basin!  Today we have 2 patterns...both are wonderful.  If you are interested just leave a comment on this post and be sure you are a registered follower of the blog by clicking on the blue Join This Site button on the left side of the blog.

I know that Stacy said there is a gal who makes the frames for this pattern and you might be able to connect with her through the Buttermilk Basin site :) or you could make one for yourself! Best Wishes and we see who the dog dish coughs up next Wednesday!!!  And please check back to see if you are the winner...I still have two Give Aways that haven't been claimed from the last 2!!!

Have a great Wednesday!!!

  10. Hi Enzo's Mom!
Isn't it fun to watch those bullion knot roses come to life? I have a bear that I did roses on with variegated silk threads many years ago and I still love them!
My daughter now has a mannequin covered in the same Parisian fabric as that cute chair I shared with you! I'll have to send you the newest photo!
Now for the shocking bit! Can you believe that I have neither of those Miss Stacy-poo patterns in my growing collection...how is it possible that I don't have that sweet snowman, in fact, I've not even seen the sampler quilt pattern before!

  13. Oh, I so love Buttermilk Basin patterns. Thank you so much for this give away opportunity and your generosity. I love it all, but I do have a special fondness for the trucks. So many memories come back. The pick up was our main source of transportation until the twins were born. The pick up worked well for parents and two little girls, but not when two babies were added to the mix. I hope you are feeling better.
