Give Away Day 9 & the Winner of Day 7

Getting a grandson & Portland fix is just what the doctor ordered.  Portland made the national news for flooding but lucky for us we were ok.  This view out our window says it all...yes, it was rainy...but, on Wednesday we had spectacular Portland day.  Crisp and we walked to the Pearl District and met my cousins for lunch!

I thought it would be fun to show you the quilts that live in the Portland digs.  I know I have showed you these before but it was fun seeing them again.  I love my Hawaiian Applique.  This one traveled in the Hoffman Show for a year.  I am proud of this quilt that was stitched while I sat on Rockaway Beach.

One of Tonye Belinda Phillips framed postcards...
this one always makes me smile!

This wool wallhanging made by Cathy of Wild Hare Fiber
has an Asian flare which I love.

The drive home was slippery but for once everyone was behaving
and using a little patience in traveling :)

The Winner for Day 7 is...Linda (msstitcher) and now the Day 9 Give Away!  I don't know about you but the Turning Twenty Quilts are a wonderful way to use your stash and the quilts always turn out!  So, if you are interested in this Give Away just leave a comment on this blog post and make sure you are a registered follower of the Woolie Blog :)

...and now, a totally merry video...Have a wonderful Weekend and remember you have the entire weekend to still get in on the Day 8 Give Away!

  1. My stash needs to reduced. This book looks like it would help me do that.
