Being a quilter in Central Oregon is heaven! We have 9 shops all within a 45 minute drive and they all have their own appeal. And now, I have added Portland to my quilting life! I will be sharing my shopping, projects, mistakes, successes and travels...all things quilt!...so come join me in my world of quilting, books, movies and restaurants!

The only requirement is that you be a follower of the Woolie Blog and leave a comment that you are interested in whatever is the GiveAway of the Day. How was your weekend?! Filled with family fun? I started out on Friday with a visit to my friend Marilyn's house for P & C (pie & coffee) Her place is adorable and filled with quilts so I took a few photos to show you.
She finished her Sue Spargo Penny Sampler and her stitching is adorable...
be sure to click on the photo for a closer look.
This quilt bring back fond memories...a group of us went to Cannon Beach for a retreat and we each made a beach babe holding a quilt and yes they lift up...
but you'll never know what is underneath!!
Marilyn is a down to the toes Cowgirl.
This piece is a special one she stitched up because it includes the quills (in the corner) from a porcupine that were left behind in the nose of her horse.
Here are a few of her other quilts.
