Winner & Week Wrap Up

First up...the winner of the Sweet & Simple Baby Quilts is ljeanne!!  Send me your mailing address and I'll get it in the mail!

Come Monday there will be a new Give Away!!

I got a little bit of stitching in yesterday...I finished Block 2 of the Fat Quarter Shop Designer Mystery.  This block was called Apartments :)  I am allowing myself to feel a little smug that I now ready for the next block to arrive in the mail!

I have been collecting a few of these Quilt Shop license plate but hadn't decided how I was going to use them until I saw this adorable pattern by Kaye Wood.  I am going to use the license plate that Sandi brought me from Pioneer Quilts...It says I (heart) Wool....so perfect for the car license plate.

On Wednesday evening we gathered for the Volunteer Appreciation Event by the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show.  Although this collage has people you may not know, it represents all that is positive about volunteering.  In whatever way you can volunteer in quilting, whether it is Quilts for Kids,  Wounded Warrior Quilts,  Quilt Guild Events or your local quilt shows...think about volunteering and spread all that is wonderful about quilters. You can click on each photo to enlarge.  Have a wonderful weekend and we'll see you back on Monday!

  1. Cute quilt Anna, it reminds me of the story quilt I designed a la Mary Lou of my mom and I doing our many road trips.

My car is coming toward you and shares some of the sights we visited.

I got two license plates in the mail today one from Nova Scotia and one from Seattle!
