Give Away + Sunriver Quilt Show

How was your weekend?  Mine was filled with family and a Quilt Show!  Yes,  HH was so sweet and said..."you have got to go to the show. "  I didn't want to drive back and forth to Bend twice in one day...but,  since he volunteered to drive me how could I refuse.

Before we get to the show lets start with the Give Away.  We are going to have a Give Away every week this month...starting with this sweet baby quilt book! Anyone interested just leave a comment on this post.  Please be a follower of the Woolie Blog by clicking on "Join This Site."  and come Friday we'll see who the dog dish coughs up, :)

I ran into several quilters I knew but this one has got it going on...yes, I have been quilting with Susie for quite a few years...so, I know how smart she is!  I laughed out loud when I saw her sporting a piece of fabric pinned to her top with a note that said, "Do you have some of this fabric to share?" She had a project that required more than she had...Now that is creative problem solving!

The Mountain Meadow Quilt Guild puts on a yearly show in the Sunriver Village.  They also have a bazaar with all kinds of quilted items.  I purchased a potholder for myself and a cute crayola pack for my little GS.

Isn't it the cutest?!

Now, for the quilt show!!!  Get something drink cause you are going to be here a while.  I didn't take a photo of every quilt but hit the highlights.  See ya back here tomorrow!

  13. Tell Susie I have a lot of the fabric she is looking for. It came from one of Valorie's first collections. Will be happy to share it with her. I also noticed in your slide show an African quilt I am sure was made in one of my hut classes. Well done!

  19. I think Sue could find some KF fabric like that with Wanda at Exuberant Color. She uses a lot of that kind of fabric.
