Day 5 Give Away and The Winner for Day 3!!!

Wrapping up the week with a movie review.  We watched November Man and didn't think it was as bad as the reviews.  I do have to admit...I am a Pierce Brosman fan...so, I might be a little biased.  It was kinda like a Bond movie.  A Woolie 3 star choice.

I am working on this sweet little candle mat available at Buttermilk Basin.  Hand stitching keeps me in the relaxation mode :)  How about you?  What is your favorite quilting technique for relaxing?

And now...for the Give Away!  First...the winner for the Day 3 Give Away is.... Judy in Michigan!!!  Send me your mailing address Judy. There is still time to comment on the Day 4 Give Away :) The Day 5 Give Away isn't quilt related but it is a cute one.  Remember this cross stitch I made over a year ago...well, it is time...

...to pass this wonderful pattern on!  If you want to learn to cross stitch this is an easy enough pattern to begin with.  And, if you already cross stitch...this one is an adorable adorable!  Leave your comment on this post that you are interested :) The winners for both Day 4 and 5 will be announced on Monday!  So you have all weekend to get your friends to join you on the Woolie Blog :)

I hope this video brings a smile to your face.  Have a great weekend and we'll see you back here on Monday!

  10. Oh Anna!!! I am thrilled!!!! I'll send you my address via email. Thank you so much! The little candle mat is so cute and stitching is relaxing except if you aren't so smooth with your blanket stitch - then it's cuss words and un-sewing - LOL. Maybe with more practice. Thank you again and I won't put my name in the dog dish anymore so others have a chance.

  12. I have always liked patriotic projects so would love the chance. Glad to hear about the movie, I was wondering if it would be worth watching. Love your little mat too. I have to get a wool project ready to have one to work on over the holidays.

  13. I totally agree with you on the Pierce Brosman, James Bond connection. of course, nobody can take the place of Sean Connery, But Pierce comes close. LOL. Thanks so much for sharing. Love the cross-stitch pattern.
