Stalking the Fabric Stalkers

I had a weekend totally to myself....WHAT???  HH and Enzo went camping out in the desert...all by themselves except for the coyotes.  It's camping off the grid but in the comfort of our trailer...just no electricity or hook ups...but, there is no shortage of wide open spaces.  What that meant for me is a whole lot of me time.  Spent time in the sewing room finishing up those projects that just had either quilting, binding, backing or ...a button to add.  You know that stuff...it's the crazy making stuff that is laying all over the place and just need a little bit more attention. Did a fair amount of gardening...and spent time with neighbors and friends.  Great weekend in Sisters :)

Here is a little quilt that was project I picked up at Quilt Market 2013.  I am especially love projects that have both piecing and wool...love, love, love those projects!  My dream is to make enough of these small quilts to fill up a wall!

Saturday I spent the day stitching with some of the Fabric Stalkers.  What totally cracks me up is that when we first started quilting together we would bring photos of our kids...seek each others counsel on raising our kids when they would scare us...and now...we share photos of our grand kids and laugh at what our children are dealing with in raising their kids...LOL  What a sweet place to be :)

Tomorrow is JULY 1st!!!  And you know what that means!!!  A Give Away to celebrate that we are now entering the official month of the...
Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show!

  4. Great little project from Market - glad you had some time to work on it! Isn't it kind of nice to have a few days all to yourself? I think the best part is no cooking! Love all of the projects of the Stalkers - so much talent!
