Today is a "brain spa" agenda just relaxing on the beach with all the weather that the Oregon Coast can bring...I say, "Bring it!"

We are on countdown to the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show and to celebrate I will be having some upcoming Give Aways coming in July!  It will be crazy around here and so a brain spa day is good.

I haven't been doing very well in the book and movie department.  I started this Dean Koontz book and about 3/4 of the way through and am about to give up on it...doesn't happen very often to me...usually I only give a book 4 chapters...has anyone else read it??? is it worth sticking with it till the end???

Enough said has had a lot of hype around it...perfect for my age group.  The acting was good...Julia really played her part well but the script...on the verge of boring.  All I can say it I didn't want to poke my eye out with a sharp pencil but I am so glad I didn't spend my money to see it at a theater!

Have a great weekend!

  1. I haven't read that one, sometimes I do start a book that sounds interesting and then I hate it so I stop. Lots of books to read, so not worth wasting time on ones we don't enjoy. I just got the new Gear's book, love their series.

  2. "Brain Spa" day sounds like a wonderful idea! I have not read the book or seen the movie, sorry. So I can not comment on either of those. Some times if I am not enjoying a book I will take a peek at the ending. If the ending kind of 'catches' me, I will finish reading to find out how it all happened.

  3. I do enjoy Koonz, but guess I won't try this one. I'm almost done with His "Strangers" and enjoyed "Lightening". Not crazy about Odd Thomas. I think you have coined a new phrase..."Brain spa day". Loveit!
