Cascade Quilter

Good Morning Monday!  I chose this photo as my funny of the week not only because Lucy was always the funniest...but because Michael, the Cascade Quilter can fix this sewing machine!  He doesn't fix computerized machines but, give him any other kind and he is your man...well actually, he is Susan's man but if you have an old machine that needs fixing he can be your man too...OK, stop rambling!

The Cascade Quilter is located in Redmond.  It is definitely a team after all Susan had the dream of owning a long arm and then decided it wasn't for her...and her DH, Michael after a couple of years of having an elephant in the middle of the room...I mean, long arm...decided to take the controls and off he went!  His quilting is wonderful and he takes the time to make the motif enhance the blocks or designs of the quilts.  He does do pantos but his real gift is in figuring out a design that will fit a block or area of a quilt!

It helps that he is also a quilter.  This is one of his first quilts!

He flipped over to the back to show the orignial fabric print that he cut up into wonderful kaleidoscopes.

Take a look at the sashing and border patterns he chose!

Before I let you loose on the slide show...forewarning...there is going to be a give away tomorrow...with a twist...so stay tuned!

Now let me introduce...
