Retreat Finale & The GiveAway

For those of you who have not been on a quilt retreat there is nothing like it!  You get to let your "fabric down" and relax.  No interruptions...no what's for dinner...no vacuum calling your name and no day to day life issue to take care of.  Retreat provides a respite, a break from the ups and downs of life.  It is a time to share your "highlights" and your "lowlights" with friends.  You get to make headway in the ever growing list of UFO's...and, you get to fall back in love with projects that have languished in your quilting soul

The Fabric Stalkers have been quilting together for many years and as expected life changes are inevitable.  Our group members now live in 3 different states.  3 of our members are retired, 7 are continuing to work.  There have been births and deaths.  Some are grandmothers, some still in the process of launching children.  And, with all these challenges we keep making plans to gather and quilt.  We don't all make every retreat but we are always there in spirit.

And, at the end of retreat I headed down the road for home.  Back to HH...back to Enzo...back to the day to day duties...a wonderful life for sure...but, still dreaming about the next retreat!

This slideshow is about us, our projects and lest you feel like we have gotten so much done...many of these projects were UFO's in various stages of completion...so don't panic, lol.  Don't forget to leave a comment on the  Give Away link!  Please be a registered follower and check back Friday for the winner!  Thank you Julie for donating the pattern!!!
