Give Away, Day 6

I know a lot of you are experiencing lower than normal temps and I did post this on my Facebook page...but, still am surprised at how low it got...yes that is minus 26!!!  Although I was in Portland rather than Sisters...it felt just as cold because of the moisture in Portland.  HH had to defrost a pipe at the house because apparently one of the vents blew open and the pipe to the washer froze!

It was so cold in Portland that the knitters knitted sweaters for all the statues! LOL

Walking down in the Pearl District we came across this fountain...
totally frozen over! *^*^*

Well, lets get too it!!!!  The Give Away is so much fun and I am creating space in my sewing room for next years Give Aways, LOL!  If you have been around for a while you know that I do love embroidery and I done my best is one of my favorite designers.  I actually framed mine rather than make a pillow...the winner of this one can do what ever she wants!  You know the drill, registered follower, leave a comment and be sure to check back on Dec. 23!  The last Give Away will be on Dec. 20th and the list of winners will be posted on Dec. 23rd!!! you will have 24 hours to contact me by email before we let the dog dish cough up a replacement winner!

Talk about the voice of an angel!  This one is definitely at the top of my list!  What is your favorite carol?

  16. Oh Brrrrrrrrrrr! It has finally started to rain here in the valley and so it will warm up and melt this snow. YEAH! Lovely to look at but...frozen pipes and having to be driven out with a 4-wheel drive vehicle is not my idea of fun. Thank goodness for the woodstove!! :0)
