Final Day For The Give Away

Today is the last 24 hours to leave a comment on this blog posting with a name for Sandy's rabbit.  All you have to do is be a registered follower and leave a comment with the name.  She doesn't even have to pick your suggestion, you just have to make one.  Tomorrow the dog dish will cough up the winner (much like the sorting hat in Harry Potter) and you will be sent this pattern.  I made this quilt out of Kaffe Fasset's muted woven and prints and it was fantastic...I wish I had a photo to show you but alas the quilt is in Illinois and I am not.  But I can tell you without a doubt it was wonderful!

Yesterday Robin and I finally got our "time off" approval from our manager for our quilting trip to France in September.  We had our hearts set on it but with the way things were going in our department we weren't sure it would happen.  Come September Lori, Robin and I will be heading to France for a Quilt Tour!!!!!!  I laughed out loud when I saw this video from our tour guide Jeanne!

We will fly into Paris and take a train to Strasbourg where our tour will begin.  Robin will be celebrating her 60th birthday and we will be partying with her!

What is not to like about a place like this!  I was there around 2008 and it was charming, beautiful and fun...I kissed a cow there but that is another story for another day when I have nothing to blog about! LOL

Have a wonderful Thursday...me I am heading off to my doctors for a physical...a "Come to Jesus" moment for sure! lol

  6. I am sooooo jealous that you are getting to go to Europe for the quilt tour! I'd probably never come back, though, if I went. I'd be too busy looking at everything. I just love the photo of that bridge! Your saying for today is a thought provoking one, and so true!
