Give Away, Day 2 & Woolie Tuesday!

Day 1 Give Away winner is...Synthia who said, "That is one stinkin' cute quilt your friend made.  I love, love, love it and you can tell her so!!! Congratulations!!!  Email your mailing address and I will send it off!

Day 2 Give Away...remember I finished this UFO last month!!!  Well the pattern is up for grabs for a follower of the blog who comments on this post and would like their name put in the dog dish for the drawing!  I also thought...I am going to draw each day and send the winning person their prize rather than wait till the 24th to draw all of them at once...I was nuts to think I could do 12 days of drawings in one day (Christmas Eve, no less) and then, to send out 12 patterns on one day...How would I keep it all straight?!  Yesterday there were less than 10 people in the drawing...great odds!!!

Well Huston (or should I say Beth) we have a problem...Woolie Tuesday is not only about wool but about laughter and sharing.  Here is our friend Marilyn who is in a interesting mutual dependent quilting relationship with her friend Beth who lives in another state!  Beth sends her thread and Marilyn tries to make macrame hangers...or is it tatting...or maybe spaghetti!

QuiltWorks is all decked out for the holidays and if you are looking for something special you might see it in the slide show.  The Shoes are not for sale...but aren't they cute!  Sandy's son is getting married this weekend and she finally found a pair of shoes to go with her cute Mother of the Groom dress!  Can't wait to see the photos of the full ensemble!

  4. Well Anna, I would love to win that pattern and good for you for paring down. Is the contest open to Canada or is it too expensive to mail to us? Either way here I am and I also enjoyed a little Mariah this morning. Thank you and the best of the season to you from a retired maternity nurse.

  6. OK - I have all the wool now all I need is the pattern - bring it on!! Because I care for my husband and Mom I know I can't finish a UFO every month but I will challenge myslef to finishing one every two months. I need to be back in my sewing room! I'm making the flowers for Reese's quilt and I will be done - it's so cute - love Bonnie Blue patterns. You will get a picture soon.........
