Give Away Countdown...3 Days Left!!!

So if you are just checking in on the Woolie Give Away it is this cute Wooly Sheep kit which includes all the materials needed...even the back and binding!!!  All you have to do is be a registered follower and not be a "no reply" follower (you can see how to fix this by reading the "no reply" info on the right side of the blog) finally, leave a comment that you want to be entered in the Random Number Draw on the Grand Prize Give Away post by clicking on this link!  Only 11 more to reach 300 followers and I hope those 11 are as wonderful and fun as you guys have been!  Will I reach it by New Years Day???

For those of you still waiting for your "wins" I will be mailing out the remainder on Friday!  I came back from the holiday right into the work week!  Be patient...I have a nice pile waiting to be mailed!

Just so you know I am not sitting on my bum doing nothing...Robin and I are working feverishly to get the first FREE ornament of the month ready and loaded for New Years Day...will we make it???

I thought I would give you a peek at Block #9 of the Primitive Gatherings BOM!  I have to say...although this is taking me forever...I am loving it!  After this block I have 3 more to go and the border...I must keep focus on the UFO Challenge...and the fabric diet.

Can you see that lunch pail sitting high up on the applique BOM...whatever in the world was I thinking about?!  I wasn't...I was running on pure addiction and now I have 3 days till my Fabric 12 step program starts.  As you can see....I have received 3 months and have not even started month one...why? Because I still have 2 other BOM's that I am working on...and, in reality those 2 were actually BOW's that I was not able to stay caught up on!

what does the new year have in store for you???

  1. I would join you in your callange but to be honest it scares me, not sure its possible for me, does it include tops that are done but not quilted? I do have my not finished but started items in one area, does that count? Lol

  2. Glad to know that I am not the only one who is finding all sorts of UFOs and unfinished BOMs and BOWs. My Primitive Gatherings is not even started. My goal for 2012 is to FINISH what I have begun. Don't know why that is so hard but, oh well, we all do it. Have a wonderful New Year.

  3. Your block 9 looks lovely, Anna.
I have so many PHD's ( projects half done) sounds better than WIP's or UFO"s heehee. My resolution will have to be the same as previous years- try to finish some. I have a Baltimore BOm from several years ago, all blocks done but the borders seemed so daunting. This year I will either attempt it, or just go with a swag border instead so I will at least get it done!

  4. I like the idea of BOM, but I never get past the first one, something else always comes up, lol.

  5. Your block #9 is lovely! I admire quilters who can take on a BOM - I only tried one and didn't even finish the first month! perhaps something simpler!!

  6. Don't you just love the Stitching Post in Sisters, OR! I have been there several times in my travels. It has been years since I live in NE Ohio.

    NE Ohio

    Happy New Year
    Happy Quilting

  7. Sitting here in Bend this morning wondering what your challenge is going to be? I stopped into Quilt works yesterday...bought some clearance fabric..and think I may go back for more...great price...LOVED the gallery display...its nice to finally see the quilts in person...and up close! You working all week? We leave for home tomorrow...right smack dab in the middle of the possible snow storm.
